In 2016, Wolf Creek Contracting was awarded a project that would give the capital city of Charleston, West Virginia a much-needed facelift. Located near the Charleston Civic Center, this project was phase one of the city government’s plans to improve the downtown area, increase the overall eye-appeal of the area, and promote growth and development for local and future business owners. This project entailed demolition of existing concrete, placement of a new underground infrastructure, installation of concrete pavement and pavers, along with installation of a decorative wall barrier designed to provide protection from on-coming traffic.
